FREE Health and Safety Workshops
Groundwork is running a series of interactive Health and Safety Workshops on various topics at the Groundwork Environment Centre, Tipton. These will be run as early morning meetings for up to 2 hours (8 to 10am). The format will be a short presentation on the topic, workshop exercises where appropriate, with ample time given over to group discussion of current issues and problems encountered by delegates.
The workshops are primarily aimed at the industrial, manufacturing and engineering sector and for those that are new in role; want to improve their knowledge; or for whom Health and Safety is not their main role.

IEMA Approved Groundwork Environmental Management System Training Course
A comprehensive course on how to develop and implement an environmental management system based on the requirements of ISO 14001.
The prime objective of this training course is to provide individuals with enough support to enable them to deal confidently and competently with environmental management in the work place.
The emphasis is on practical aspects of environmental management with a focus on specific topics relevant to environmental impacts from industry and introduces delegates to the requirements of the ISO 14001 standard.
The package comprises training sessions which include practical exercises and workshops delivered by an experienced environmental consultant. The course includes portfolio work and involves an assessment.
The course consists of 6 half day sessions and an assessment. All sessions are from 9am till 12.30pm and are held at: Groundwork West Midlands, Dolton Way, Tipton, DY4 9AL.

Cost £625.00 (plus VAT) (£525.00 plus VAT for second person from same company)

CIEH Level 2 Award in Environmental Principles and Best Practice
This qualification provides an awareness of key environmental concepts and an introduction to environmental management systems. It is designed for all members of staff whose activities could have a significant impact on the environment, or supervisors or managers who are being introduced to environmental issues for the first time.

3 Day IEMA Approved Internal Environmental Auditor Course
An essential course for learning how to carry out environmental audits of your company?s Environmental Management System (EMS).
This three day course equips delegates with the skills to conduct an internal audit, compile an audit trail and report on corrective action:
- Environmental Aspects, Impacts and Legal Issues.
- Principles of Auditing.
- The Internal Audit Process.
- Efficient and Effective Systems Auditing (focusing on the ISO 14001 standard).
The course structure meets the principles of auditor training needs specified in ISO 19011:2011 and is approved by the Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment.
Up to five points towards IEMA Environmental Auditor registration can be awarded upon successful completion and the course can help demonstrate the training and competency of your internal audit team to third party EMS certifiers.

Personnel with internal auditing responsibilities for ISO 14001 and auditors of other management systems now looking to address ISO 14001.

One Day Bespoke Internal Auditor Course
An essential course for learning how to carry out environmental audits of your company's Environmental Management System (EMS). This course is suitable for personnel with internal auditing responsibilities for ISO 14001 or auditors of other management systems now looking to address ISO 14001.

Time: 9:30am till 5:00pm (Lunch will be provided)
